- The Senate will convene at 9:30 AM and proceed to a period of Morning Business until 11:30 AM. The first hour will be equally divided, with the Republicans controlling the first 30 minutes and the Majority controlling the second 30 minutes.
- At 10:30 AM, all 2nd degree amendments to S. 3637, the Transaction Account Guarantee bill, must be filed at the desk.
- At 11:30 AM, the Senate will resume consideration of S. 3637, the Transaction Account Guarantee bill, with the time until 12:00 PM equally divided. The amendment tree has been filled. It will be in order for the Republican leader or his designee to raise a Budget Act Point of Order against the bill.
- At 12:00 PM, the Senate will conduct up to 2 ROLL CALL VOTES on:
- Motion to Waive the Budget Act with respect to S. 3637, the Transaction Account Guarantee bill (if a Budget Act Point of Order is raised); and
- Motion to Invoke Cloture on S. 3637, the Transaction Account Guarantee bill.
- If a Budget Act Point of Order is raised and the Motion to Waive the Budget Act is Not Agreed to, cloture will be vitiated and Majority Leader Reid will be recognized.
- At 1:45 PM, the Senate will begin consideration of Executive Calendar #830, Lorna G. Schofield, of New York, to be U.S. District Judge for the Southern District of New York; and Executive Calendar #832, Frank Paul Geraci, Jr., of New York, to be U.S. District Judge for the Western District of New York, for 30 minutes of debate, equally divided.
- At 2:15 PM, the Senate will conduct 2 ROLL CALL VOTES on:
- Executive Calendar #830, Lorna G. Schofield, of New York, to be U.S. District Judge for the Southern District of New York; and
- Executive Calendar #832, Frank Paul Geraci, Jr., of New York, to be U.S. District Judge for the Western District of New York.
