Vitter Issues Statement on White House Stimulus Data Concerns

(Washington, D.C.) – U.S. Sen. David Vitter today issued the following statement regarding the White House’s release of stimulus data illustrating job growth in several non-existent congressional districts in Louisiana. The White House this week released new data on the official economic recovery website showing stimulus expenditures and job growth in Louisiana Congressional Districts 1 to 7 and 8, 22, 12, 26, 00, 45, 14 and 32. Louisiana has only seven congressional districts.
