Chambliss Co-Sponsors Legislation to Provide More Transparency in the Legislative Process

Would Require CBO Score and Text Posted on the Internet before Senate Consideration of Legislation

WASHINGTON - U.S. Sen. Saxby Chambliss, R-Ga., today co-sponsored legislation calling for a change in Senate rules to require a Congressional Budget Office (CBO) score on all legislative matters, and for the text of legislation to be posted on the Internet 72 hours prior to consideration by any Senate subcommittee or committee, or on the floor of the Senate.
