Hatch: Independent Actuary Again Confirms Health Law Will Increase Costs, Cut Benefits for Medicare Beneficiaries

Today, U.S. Senator Orrin Hatch (R-Utah), a member of the Senate Finance Committee that has jurisdiction over Medicare, released an analysis from the chief actuary at the Department of Health and Human Services, Richard Foster, outlining how the $2.6 trillion health law will cause significant increases in out-of-pocket costs paid by Medicare beneficiaries in the Medicare Advantage program.
