Vitter Disapproves of Obama Barrier Island Plan Decision

(Washington, D.C.) – U.S. Sen. David Vitter today made the following remarks in advance of President Obama’s trip tomorrow to the Gulf coast to assess the continuing cleanup and response efforts of the oil spill. Vitter also voiced his frustration with early reports on the decision by the president and the Coast Guard to not move forward with the complete state barrier island dredging plan.
